Transmitter Overview
The Teradek Ranger MK II 2500 12G-SDI/HDMI Wireless Transmitter/Receiver Set allows for the transmission of lossless HD video up to a distance of 762m. This versatile transmitter is designed for various applications including broadcast, events, drones, and handheld setups. It supports input of up to 4K60 video over HDMI or 12G-SDI with 10-bit HDR support. Additionally, it can transmit video over a wide wireless range of 4.9 to 6.4 GHz, encompassing both licensed and unlicensed bands within the 6 GHz U-NII 5 spectrum.
The transmitter unit provides a powerful signal that can travel up to 762m line of sight, with the added benefit of an SDI loop output for local monitoring. It is equipped with one horizontal and one vertical N-type antenna to enhance signal reception.
Designed to offer optimal flexibility, the transmitter supports transmission of up to 4K60 video to a maximum of six receivers. Your video content is protected from unauthorised access through built-in AES-256 encryption. The transmission is visually lossless and provides zero delay to any Ranger series receiver.
To simplify configuration and optimisation of signal reception, the transmitter supports either a desktop Launchpad software application or the Launchpad app for iOS or Android. Bluetooth 5 connectivity enables seamless connection, and both options offer a spectrum analyser, channel selection tools, and remote configuration capabilities.
Powering the unit is convenient with the option of a 2-pin DC input or the included V-mount battery plate. For ease of use and compatibility, the transmitter includes 1/4"-20 and M3 mounting threads, allowing for secure attachment to a range of cameras, cages, or rigs.
