Description
The Tiffen 58mm Black Satin 1/2 Filter is designed to decrease the overall contrast of an image and provide better control over the highlights in a scene. It has the ability to give highlights a more textured, grainy appearance while simultaneously offering a subtle softening effect on facial blemishes and wrinkles, resulting in a natural and refined look.
This filter is created using ColorCore technology, which involves sandwiching the filter substrate between two optical glass pieces, grinding it to an extremely precise tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and mounting it on metal rings. It is constructed from water white glass, ensuring high clarity and quality.
