Tilta's Hydra Arm is manufactured with ultra lightweight carbon fibre composite materials and high-quality aluminium. Fully extended, Hydra Arm can reach up to 6 metres, while the innovative support structure keeps the weight under 170kg.
The flexible, modular design allows for a quick, 20-minute assembly. The internal tank stabilisation system ensures ergonomic, user-friendly operation. Compatible with most consumer vehicles (sold separately).
Hydra Arm is compatible with various power supply solutions, including via portable battery device. Note: For the safety of the equipment and vehicle, please use power supply products that meet the safety requirements.
The tail end uses a counterweight box for balance. When balanced, the Hydra Arm can reach 35° at its highest angle and 45° at its lowest angle. The fulcrum features a sliding track with no marking limit. With its high-performance control motor Hydra Arm can complete a 360° rotation in 5.9 seconds.
The maximum payload capacity is 23kg. Hydra Arm accommodates advanced gimbal systems such as Ronin 2, ARRI Stabilized Remote Head SRH-3, etc.
Hydra Arm's control unit is expansion-ready with secure and flexible mounting options. Easily mounts inside a car for convenient operation. The mounting plate supports the mounting of a battery plate. Built-in 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw holes are included. Provides flexible adjustment of the monitor bracket to allow for various operating needs.
Hydra Arm can be packed into 5 cases. Easy for travel and transportation.
