The Tilta Illusion Magnetic Circular Polarizer with Black Mist 1/4 Filter can quickly magnetically connect to the Illusion Magnetic Adapter Rings and come in three different variations.
All three Polarizers can be rotated to produce accurate and vibrant colors by limiting reflected light and preventing unwanted glare caused by reflective surfaces such as water or glass.
The standard Circular Polarizer Filter functions as a normal Polarizer and can be stacked with the Illusion Magnetic VND Adapter (not included) to turn the Polarizer into a Variable ND with 1-5 stops.
Another variation includes 5 stops of Neutral Density (ND) for greater exposure control. When used with the optional VND Adapter, users can create a Variable ND Filter with 6-10 stops.
The last variation features Black Mist 1/4 for a softer, more diffused cinematic look. This filter is a type of diffusion filter that reduces contrast and produces a subtle glow around light sources, while limiting overall softness and retaining contrast in the shadows.
When combined with the optional VND Adapter, this becomes a powerful combo for taking cinematic portraits.
