The Maxi M is an Aluminium 5 section tripod with a centre column that splits to enable this tripod to have a minimum working height of just 16.5cm - perfect for macro work. It is also supplied with one of Velbon’s fantastic aluminium pan & tilt heads – the PHD-31Q
The Velbon Ultra range feature the patented Trunnion Shaft System (TSS) meaning each leg extends the entire inside length of the outer leg casing, making the tripod extremely compact when folded. Additionally, they offer the unique and patented Velbon "Twist Lock" leg system - a simple quick twist and pull allows you to extend each leg, with another twist to lock the leg.
