P-U100 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery

The Sony BP-U100 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery is a 100Wh capacity lithium ion battery optimised for professional video shooting. Its compact size and low weight make the BP-100 ideal for high-mobility applications such as gimbal mounting.

Battery status data is continuously communicated to the camera, remaining capacity is displayed on the camera’s LCD monitor and viewfinder, allowing operators to monitor battery status easily and accurately while shooting. The Sony BP-U100 offers higher capacity and faster charging time than the previous generation BP-U90.
