Description
The Vox AC15 60th Anniversary Handwired Vox is a recreation of the 1957 VOX AC15/4 tube amplifier for guitarists seeking the legendary tone of a rare, classic combo for recording and performing on stage. The two-channel 15W RMS amp was handcrafted and hand-wired in the United Kingdom.
Eight tubes, including an EF86 preamp tube, and custom-wound transformers deliver the unmistakable VOX tone. The 12” Celestion Alnico Silver speaker has been brought back exclusively for VOX’s 60th anniversary and three power outputs are provided for connection to external speakers. Each of the channels features high and low 1/4" inputs, and Brilliance and Cut controls allow you to refine your tone. The adjustable vibrato can be switched on or off via the included foot-switch.
The Baltic birch ply cabinet features the signature VOX tolex covering and diamond cloth face. A custom amp cover is included to protect the AC15HW60 from dust and scratches.
