Description

amaran expands its LED monolight line with the amaran COB 60x S Bi-Colour LED Monolight. This new model incorporates the same qualities as the previous COB 60x, such as the compact and lightweight design and the quality of light. However, it also features an upgraded LED chipset design, providing a variable colour temperature of 2700-6500K and an ultra-high SSI score for improved colour reproduction. The COB 60x S produces an impressive 33,300 lux output at 3.3' when used with the included mini hyper reflector. It also offers nine different lighting effects to achieve various creative looks. This monolight is an ideal choice for content creators and videographers who need a portable and quiet light without compromising on image quality.

The COB 60x S can be adjusted locally using the intuitive LCD screen on the unit or wirelessly from up to 262' away using the Sidus Link app on your smartphone. It provides extended power options and can be used worldwide with its included 100 to 240 VAC power supply. In situations where AC power is not available, it can also be powered by separately available NP-F or D-Tap batteries. With its full-size Bowens mount and stand adapter with umbrella holder, the COB 60x S offers great compatibility with a wide range of light modifiers. Additionally, a carry bag is included for convenient storage and on-the-go productions.

    Compact, lightweight so great for flying in as a hair light in interviews. Plenty bright enough as an indoor key for most headshots unless you are competing with the sun. Love that it can run off Sony NPFs and that it has a full sized bowens mount - pairs brilliantly with Aputure SE Softbox or the smaller 45x45. It is quite noisy though - fan makes an irritating high whiny sound that cannot be dialed back even when light dimmed, which is a shame. Easily removed in post but something to be aware of. Excellent small light otherwise.
