Combining durability and lightness, the black Pelican 1557 Air Case (Black, With Trekpak Insert) offers water, dust, and impact protection to your equipment in a travel-ready package. The case is moulded with a proprietary lightweight resin that forms honeycomb structural elements, reducing the weight of the case while preserving durability and impact resistance.
Drop-tested and submerged to help ensure optimal performance, the case has a watertight O-ring gasket and an automatic purge valve for air pressure to protect your gear in nearly any type of environment. Two double throw latches are used to close the case, alongside stainless steel hasps that support the use of padlocks. A slight conic shape to the lid gives this case a special flair that makes it stand out among other types of protective cases.
Optimised for travel, the 1557 features overmolded handles for carrying as well as a polycarbonate card holder that can be used for adding your own personal information. This pelican case comes with the TrekPak kit, composed of durable laminated foam that can be cut to fit your gear, as well as limited lifetime warranty.
