Description
The Tilta Camera Cage for Sony PXW-FX9 is a modular system with a VCT-U14 baseplate with a shoulder pad. The cage features a built-in lens adapter support bracket and top, front, and rear 15mm rod ports. For mounting, it offers 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory and tripod mount threads, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist threads, and ARRI-style rosettes for extension arms and handgrips.

VCT-U14 Baseplate with Shoulder Pad
The VCT-U14 baseplate features an ergonomic shoulder pad and a 15mm LWS rod mount on the front and back. Two 7.9" rods are included for attaching accessories such as a follow focus. Standard ARRI-style rosettes on the sides of the baseplate allow you to instal extension arms or additional handgrips, and an integrated, adjustable lens support on the front provides support for longer, heavier lenses. The baseplate also features a quick release plate on the bottom that provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mount threads, and this plate is interchangeable with select other Tilta quick release plates.
Top and Side Plates
The top plate attaches to the top of the camera without interfering with the camera's original top handle. It features a 15mm rod clamp on top for mounting an EVF and accessories to included 1.8" short 15mm rods. The side plate connects the top plate with the baseplate, and both the top and side plates offer multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist threads to incorporate additional accessories.
